TBHC (and I) are so proud of Coacoochee’s Story, still, after over a decade, the flagship display of their museum and running as perfectly as the day it was opened in 2009, the CEO and staff wanted ‘the old team’ back to produce an immersive pirate theatre for their new galleries. With my ‘team’, we built it in a Devon barn and shipped it to Florida. It involves a Pepper’s Ghost, four projections, sound, light, and scrim reveals of treasure – all the tricks and magic to attract the younger audience but based on research and the stories of actual historical pirates. Once again, I partnered with Boston Productions.
