…And herein lies my other passion

Travelling has long been a compulsion that directed my way of life. Travelling in about 100 countries (so far!) – for over three decades often by motorbike – including two crossings of the Sahara Desert, and being on the first Western motorbike into China since the Cultural Revolution, and 15 extended African bike safaris, not to mention riding almost every country in Europe and Scandinavia. 

On every journey (amazingly, since the age of 14) I have kept detailed journals of my observations and discoveries. These now fill a shelf and number over 3 million words.
